Seeking a senior web application engineer to design and document a cloud based application architecture. The candidate will assist project managers with developing realistic project work-plans. The candidate will comply with project standards and methodologies. Main duties include being responsible for total assessment for redesign/ redevelopment for new and legacy web application with strong database component. Aside from solid web development skills, the candidate filling this position must have experience with cloud based architecture, integration testing and performance tuning.

• Must Have
  • Education: B.S. in Computer Science or related field, M.S. preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years.
  • Server side scripts like PHP, Javascript, XML, CSS, ASP, CGI.
  • Expertise in server application development.
  • Deep understanding of web application design.
  • Good understanding of Model View Controller (MVC) distributed architectures.
  • Must be able to produce high level solution design document.
  • DBMS expertise; preferably experience working with Oracle database. Expertise with relational databases
  • Cloud based expertise: e.g. designing for high availability, geo-redundant design, load balancing.
• Good to have
  • Strong Java web development skills and excellent understanding of object-oriented analysis/design/programming.
  • Deep understanding of web security.
  • Experience with IDE such as Eclipse.
  • Network design and planning.
  • Can supervise cloud based system administrators.
  • Preferred experience with clouds based platforms either in house or through hosting services.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
