Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Support development of product collateral, demonstrations, status reports and other related communications. Analyze and design algorithms within an application area, working individually, leading a small team, and/or working with cross functional teams such as product management, business development and customer support.

Requires: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 5 years experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Alternate Education/Experience requirement: Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 3 years experience.

• Must have
  • Programming embedded applications processors including ARM processors
  • Integration, debugging, and testing mobile handset platforms
  • Proficiency with Windows for mobile phones, Symbian, and Linux
  • Proficiency with cellular wireless radio technology including 3G; Implementing digital signal processing algorithms with focus on MIPS optimization
  • Programming digital signal processors using C and C++
  • Implementing and porting multimedia applications & device drivers
